Description

The patent leather fabric you described sounds ideal for making crafts and carnival costumes. Being waterproof, the fabric will be resistant to moisture, which is ideal if you plan to use your creation in a humid environment or during a rain shower. In addition, its weight of 170 gr/m2 and width of 138 cm will give it good resistance and stability.

Some additional tips for working with this fabric are:

  1. Avoid ironing the fabric directly: Patent leather fabric is sensitive to heat, so it is not recommended to iron it directly. If necessary, use a cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid damaging it.

  2. Note the direction of the sheen: If your fabric has a unidirectional sheen, be sure to cut all the pieces the same way to prevent the sheen from looking uneven.
